Jordanian businessmen deny ties with Israel
Private sector officials in Jordan denied the establishment of a joint Jordanian - Israeli Chamber of Commerce aimed at boosting trade and industrial cooperation between Jordan and Israel.
Heads of the Jordanian Businessmen Society, Hamdi al-Taba'; the federation of the Jordanian Chambers of Commerce, Haidar Murad; and the Chamber of Industry in Amman, Khaldoun Abu Hassan, told Jordanian daily al-Dustour in a press statement that such a news aims at distorting the reputation of private sector institutions in Jordan.
This institution has, so far, refused any economic cooperation projects with Israel. It has also refused to hold any meetings with Israel.
