Jordanian army chief of staff heads for Washington

Chief of staff of the Jordanian armed forces. Lt. Gen. Abdul Hafez Mari al-Kaabneh. left Amman Thursday for the US. He was accompanied by commander of the marine forces of the Jordanian army as well as the air force commander.

Al-Kaabneh and members of the accompanying delegation will meet with King Hussein, who has been under medical treatment in the United States.
