Morocco to have new customs code that is for business

Morocco will adopt shortly a new customs code meeting the expectations of businessmen and exporters (for a modern and efficient system), Director General of the Moroccan Customs said.

At a meeting held recently with Moroccan entrepreneurs, Chief of the Moroccan Customs Administration said the new code will sustain Morocco's economic overture and will simplify the customs administrative procedures and mainly the goods clearance tracks.

He also affirmed that the new law will be in harmony with the international customs regulations and will combat frauds and tax evasion.
