Morocco, France determined to upgrade cooperation in environment protection
Morocco and France are determined to upgrade their cooperation in matters of land development, environment protection, pollution control and town planning.
In a communique released Friday here at the end of a two-day working visit the French minister of territory development and environment paid to Morocco, the two countries called for the consolidation of partnership and for enhancing the exchange of experiences in environment protection, greening research studies and related sectors.
They also agreed to set up a technical committee to identify the Moroccan priority projects needing further French technical assistance.
Paris has pledged in this regard to provide Morocco with all necessary know-how to enable the Kingdom to contain environmental deterioration at some endangered sites.
