France encourages and supports Morocco's reforms
A spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry said in Paris Friday that France encourages and supports Moroccan endeavors of reforms, modernization and opening onto the European Union.
The French spokeswoman who announced a visit to Morocco on September 15 from French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine, said the intensity of Moroccan-French relations will be illustrated once again by the fact that Moroccan Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi will pay a working visit to France next October 1-2.
She added that officials from the two countries have been intensifying contacts, as shown by this week's visit to Morocco by French Minister of Territory Development and Environment Dominique Voynet.
She added that Vedrine's visit to Morocco is destined to prepare for the second Moroccan-French meeting to be chaired by prime ministers of the two countries and will be an opportunity to review a series of issues of mutual interest.
