Morocco and Sudan sign cooperation accords
Morocco and Sudan signed here Wednesday several accords destined to foster further cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, economy, diplomacy training, and media.
The accords provide for the exchange of agricultural experiences, the protection of mutual investments, increase of trade exchanges and reinforcement of coordination between the two countries' diplomatic missions, and the exchange of experiences in the fields of news agencies, journalism and in computing and broadcasting techniques.
The agreements are also destined to encourage contacts between Moroccan and Sudanese businessmen through the Moroccan-Sudanese cooperation commission that will meet shortly to identify priority sectors.
These accords were sealed on the occasion of the work visit Sudanese president, Gen. Omar Hassan El-Bashir, is paying to Morocco since Tuesday.
