Egypt did not receive news about an American strike at Yemen

Osama El-Baz, the political advisor for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, stated today that Egypt did not receive information indicating that the United States is considering directing a military strike at Yemen like the one directed at Sudan and Afghanistan.

He said, "We read this news only through news agencies, and the U.S.A did not inform us" about either its strikes against Sudan and Afghanistan or about any other operation.
