Algeria: Three pro-government militia members killed

Algerian dailies on Wednesday reported that extremist Islamists killed three pro-government Algerian militia men in two separate incidents.

Liberte daily said that two men were gunned down in an ambush carried out by armed Islamists on Monday near al-Bweira, situated 120 km east of the capital, Algiers. Meantime, La Tribune daily said that a third pro-government militia member was killed on Wednesday in clashes with the Armed Islamic Group, in Aflo al-Aghwat village, 400 km, south of Algiers.
