Farouk Qaddoumi: Israeli accusations against Egypt false

The head of the political department in the P.L.O Farouk Qaddoumi described as lies the Israeli accusations that Egypt previously obstructed the agreement to which Israel have reached with the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.

In statements to ArabicNews.com, Qaddoumi said Netanyahu aimed at promoting initiatives against the US main initiative by spreading lies.

Qaddoumi added that instead of leveling charges and accusations at Egypt, Israel should have redeployed along three stages, where this redeployment would have already ended in 90% of the West Bank in Palestinian hands, months ago, but the prime minister insisted on procrastinating and not redeploying an explicit indication that Israel does not want peace.

Qaddoumy pointed out that despite all the American efforts that failed to rescue the peace track, Natenyaho continues his pattern of saying one thing today and the opposite the next day, which caused the US and Europe to loose their confidence in him.
