Egyptian minister: New markets opening for Egyptian products in African Arab countries

Soliman Reda, the Egyptian minister of industry and mineral wealth, announced today that President Mubarak called for opening new markets for Egyptian products in the African Arab areas through ratifying agreements with some countries and giving advantages to Egyptian products in these countries' markets.

He said it was agreed with South Africa and former Soviet Union member states to permit the entry of Egyptian products.
