Prominent Sudanese opposition member directs criticism at Sudanese opposition

A member of the opposition Sudanese Democratic National Alliance's leadership, Dona Metwal, directed strong criticism at the leaders of the northern opposition parties and the leader of the Sudanese People's Liberation Army, Colonel John Garang, accusing them of playing a political game to destroy Sudanese unity.

He said the southern and northern Sudanese opposition parts played a political game with each other at the last meeting of the leadership in Cairo, in which the northern leaders repeated their slogans about determining the fate of the Sudanese south, while the southern leaders confirmed that they are fighting in for the country's unity.
