Jordan's King Hussein, who has been receiving medical treatment in the US since the middle of July, received a telephone call on Tuesday from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak dealing with "current Arab conditions and the peace process."
The Jordanian official news agency Petra said on Tuesday that during the telephone conversation, Mubarak wished King Hussein a quick recovery. King Hussein has been undergoing a third session of chemotherapy prescribed by doctors at the US Mayo Clinic.
