Sudanese plane violates Libyan embargo to celebrate revolution anniversary
A Sudanese airplane arrived yesterday in Tripoli in a new challenge to the air embargo imposed on Libya. The airplane was carrying a delegation of Sudanese officials who will participate in the celebrations of the Libyan Republic's revolution in September.
The Organization of African Unity asked its member countries in June to ignore the embargo on Libya in humanitarian cases and on religious occasions or on missions concerned with the organization's work.
