Lebanese, Bahraini trade relations highlighted

Lebanese President Elias Hrawi today received Bahrain's minister of trade, Ali Saleh al-Saleh, and members of his accompanying delegation currently visiting Lebanon.

Means of strengthening cooperation relations between the two states were reviewed. Earlier in the day, Lebanese minister of economy and trade Yassin Jaber discussed with the Bahraini minister and members of the accompanying delegation areas of economic and trade cooperation between them.

Following the meeting, the Lebanese minister said that discussions dealt with cooperation between Lebanese and Bahraini banks.

The Bahraini minister, for his part hoped that this visit will mark the beginning of economic and investment cooperation between the two states. He indicated a Bahraini exposition will be opened later in the day to acquaint the Lebanese private sector with Bahraini products and the Bahraini private sector with Lebanese products.
