Israeli police intensify patrols around Al Aqsa fearing revenge actions

The Israeli police intensified their presence around Al Aqsa Mosque in anticipation of a possible Jewish terrorist attack on the mosque according to the reports of the Israeli external intelligence body, while procedures were taken to protect high-ranking Israeli officials from any possible assassination attempts by Jewish extremists.

A report issued by the external Israeli intelligence body warned the Israeli government of a plan made by an unknown terrorists aimed at the sacred Islamic spots in Jerusalem as well as implementing collective assassination actions to escalate the tensions in the area and to prevent the second stage of Israeli military redeployment in the West Bank.
