Morocco drawn in group 3 with UAE and Sudan for Arab Nations Cup

The Moroccan football team will play in group 3 together with the United Arab Emirates and Sudan for the Arab Nations Cup.

The drawing took place Thursday in Qatar's capital to determine groups playing in the 7th cup of Arab nations tournament that will take place from September 22 through October 1.

The twelve teams that qualified for the finals were divided into four groups.

The winner of the cup and the other finalist will take respectively $40,000 and $30,000 while the amount of the prize to be awarded to the 3rd and 4th place teams are not yet known, but the Arab Football Union says it will not be less than $20,000.

The union also announced the return of the Iraq's football team starting next year.
