King Hassan: Moroccan - Egyptian relations as example to follow

Originally published

King Hassan II has described Moroccan-Egyptian relations as an example that should be followed as the Arab-Islamic nation derives strength and power from such models to serenely enter the coming century.

This came in a message of congratulations the king addressed to President Hosni Mubarak on the occasion of Egypt's national day.

King Hassan II voiced his appreciation for the "sincere welcome" he was given during his visit to Egypt last May and for the strides made toward the consolidation of bilateral relations in trade, cooperation and consultation.

"We have laid firm bases for the unification of the aspirations of our two countries and two peoples and have translated the feelings of friendship and kinship between them into concrete projects that are likely to consolidate and deepen bilateral relations further," the sovereign said.
