Iran condemns Israeli policy against Jerusalem

Chairman of the Shoura council in Iran Nateq Nouri has condemned the recent measures taken by Israel aiming at Judaizing Jerusalem. He called on the Islamic nation to strongly confront these Israeli measures.

During his meeting in Tehran on Monday with the Representative of the PLO in Tehran Saleh Zawawi, Nouri asserted Oran's support for the struggle mounted by the Palestinian people to liberate the occupied lands, restore their rights and establish an independent state in Palestine.

The PLO representative, for his part, called on Iran, which currently leads the Organization of the Islamic Conference, to discuss the dimensions of the Israeli expansion measures and adopt suitable measures called for an extraordinary meeting of the Islamic states' foreign ministers.
