Discussing the increasing of the Egyptian exports to Libya

Ahmed Goweili, the Egyptian minister of trade and supply, is due to meet with Abd al-Hafidh Mahmud Zalitni, the Libyan minister of economy and trade, in August to discuss the increase in Egyptian exports to Libya.

Egyptian economic reports have criticized the volume of Egyptian exports to Libyan markets, which have reached $70 million annually while the volume of Libyan imports reached $70 million.

Meanwhile, the report called for activating trade between the two states within the good circumstances between them.

The report also asserted the importance of solving the problem presented financial transfers from Libya to Egypt, which is obstructing increases in the mutual trade exchange.
