Yemeni tribesmen have exploded a petroleum pipeline in the Serwah area of Marib governorate, while a bomb near a petroleum refinery in the El-Berika district of Aden was exploded.

Sources in Marib governorate (173 km east of Sanaa) said that tribesmen attacked today an oil pipeline in El-Hokiel region. This incident is considered the eighth attack to which the petroleum pipelines have been exposed. No details were given about the extent of the damage.

Sources in Marib said that the situation in the governorate is almost calm, although there are occasional clashes during the night between the tribesmen, the army and security forces.

The sources also said that tribesmen attempted yesterday night to intercept a vegetable truck which was en route from Harib in the governorate, firing on persons in the truck, one of whom was seriously injured.
