Algerian President calls for inter dialogue with all

Algerian President Liamine Zeroual has reiterated his call for political parties in his country to maintain dialogue and consultations with one another. His call is aimed at reaching united positions on issues of national concern.

In statements he made on Monday upon meeting with a delegation representing the Socialist Forces Front opposition party, the Algerian President added that he called two years earlier for dialogue among political forces in the country. He added that this dialogue should be maintained without ruling out any faction that commits itself to Algeria's constitution and rejects use of violence.

The Algerian President stressed his determination to continue efforts to eliminate acts of violence in the country.
