Gaddafi suffers broken leg

The Libyan television on Monday said that Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi suffered a break in the upper part of his leg. The report added that Gaddafi will have to undergo surgery "very soon," but the report did not explain the cause of the break.

Libyan television aired shots of Gaddafi in bed, surrounded by African leaders, including the presidents of Chad and Niger.
