Israel refuses to allow Hawatme entrance to Gaza

Israel newly refused to allow Nayef Hawatme, the secretary general of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine to return to Gaza.

Hawatme stated that the Palestinian government recently requested that Israel allow six persons to retrun to the Palestinian territories and that five of the requests were accepted, yet his request was refused.

Hawatme said that the DFLP and the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine, headed by George Habash, are ready to hold talks with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Cairo or in another place.
