Security source denies reports that terrorists plan to kidnap US citizens

An official security source in the Egyptian ministry denied today reports that terrorists elements in Egypt plan to kidnap US citizens and detain them, or making operations against foreign and US interests in Egypt. The source said that the state's intelligence plan is based on directing preemptive strikes against terrorist elements and that 16 terrorists elements who were spreading their ideas among the youths fled in May, referring to the falsehood of reports by the news agencies concerning their plans to kidnap US citizens.
