French concern over Israeli settlement schemes

France said yesterday that Israel's Judaization plan for Jerusalem declared by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a matter of great anxiety and will create more complications for the Middle East peace process.

Spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry said yesterday in Paris that her country will urge the Israeli government to refrain from carrying out such a plan..
