Moroccan premier confers with Iraqi parliament speaker

Moroccan Prime Minister Abdul Rahman al-Youssoufi today in Rabat discussed with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Sadoun Hammadi the situation in Iraq and the dimensions of the economic sanctions imposed on the Iraqi people.

Following the meeting Hammadi said his talks with al-Youssoufi centered on the sanctions, relations between the two countries and the question of the common Arab economic market. He added that the Moroccan Premier reiterated his country's support for lifting the siege imposed on the Iraqi people.
