Jordanian opposition parties to meet July 25

Jordanian opposition parties will convene a conference on June 25 in Amman. A preparation committee has endorsed a work-plan for the conference bearing the title:" Jordanian National Salvation Program." The work-plan seeks to defend Jordan's independence, carry out political reform, guarantee the independence of the judicial authority, protect public freedoms and disseminate democracy.

The conference preparation committee has elected an executive committee that will act in charge of implementing the preparation committee resolutions.
