Morocco-Health Viagra Sex pill Made in Morocco

Originally published

Morocco, which was among the first African countries to authorize the sale of the Viagra sex pill, has become the world's third maker of the drug after the United States and Switzerland, a Moroccan daily reported on Monday.

Morocco launched the lab tests for the manufacturing of the "miracle" pill as early as last November, Dr. Jamal Taoufik, Head of the Drugs and pharmacy department at the Moroccan Health Ministry, told "Liberation" daily.

The Moroccan health authorities gave the green light for the making and sale of the pill.

The pill is now sold at Moroccan drug stores at 400 Dh (about 40 US dollars).

Dr. Jamal Taoufik says that 50 men out of 100 who consult a specialist suffer from erection problems.

In addition to meeting the local market demand, Morocco plans to export the locally-made drug to other African and Arab countries.
