Hizbullah warns Israel against launching military attacks on Lebanon
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Hizbullah party warned Israel against launching military aggressions against Lebanon "Israel will pay a heavy price if it does so," the statement said.
In a televised statement, secretary general of the Hizbullah Party Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said his party does not own "an army in the traditional meaning, in that it can stop an Israeli invasion, but it can inflict heavy losses on Israel," through carrying out suicide operations carried out by resistance-men against Israeli targets.
Sheikh Nasrallah reiterated that his party reserves its right to use Katyusha missiles to respond to any Israeli attacks against Lebanese civilians.
Meanwhile, the commander of the Northern region in the Israeli army, Maj. Gen. Amiram Levin, said his forces will intensify attacks in south Lebanon against Lebanese national resistance-men under the pretext of what he called "maintaining the security of Israeli settlers" in northern Israel. Levin threatened to strike at those behind resistance operations.
