Palestinian opposition is against Oslo agreements

Originally published

Khaled El-Fahoom, a member of the Palestinian National Council who is currently coordinating between the Palestinian factions opposing the Oslo agreements, said today, "From the beginning we were and still are against Oslo, because this agreement doesn't fulfill at least one the Palestinian rights" which he said include the right of return for Palestinian refugees, the right to self-determination and establishing an independent country.

He said the Palestinians want their territories in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which were occupied in 1967, yet unfortunately the Oslo agreements ignored this and the return of more than five million Palestinian refugees over the past 50 years.
