A number of Sudanese ministers and political and intellectual leaders held a meeting to discuss relations between Egypt and Sudan and methods of enhancing political and diplomatic efforts to settle issues still pending between the two countries.

The Sudanese newspaper Today News reported yesterday that Sudanese Foreign Minister Mostafa Osman Ismael, who participated in this meeting, said that the efforts exerted to rectify the atmosphere between the two countries are continuing despite the presence of some obstacles, describing the disputes over the Egyptian properties in Sudan as technical and procedural and saying they can be surpassed.

He added that the Sudanese government is proceeding with the program for returning these properties as an implementation of the Sudanese President Bashir's instructions on this issue.
