Iran-Argentina relations sour due to bomb attacks
Four diplomats from the Iranian embassy in Argentina arrived today in Iran after being pulled out of the South American country in response to accusations directed by Argentina at Iran.
Argentina's president said that there is new evidence that confirms Iran's contribution to bomb attacks in the Argentinean capital, Buenos Ares, in 1992 and 1994.
The Iranian foreign ministry reduced the number of its diplomats in Argentina to one. Iran also denied Argentina's accusations and said it will impose economic sanctions on Argentina.
It is also expected that Argentina may withdraw its diplomats from Tehran in return for Iran's withdrawal of its diplomats from Buenos Ares.
