Amman rally supports Palestinians repatriation right
In the final statement of a rally held on Sunday in Amman, the Jordanian vocational trade unions on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Palestine Nakba (catastrophe) called for observing May 15 every year as a day for the whole Arab nation to stress the repatriation right, the Arab character of Jerusalem and Palestine, people's right to resistance, and boycott the Israeli occupation and reject normalization with Israel.
The statement, which was issued at the conclusion of the one-week rally which was attended by some 40 Arab intellectuals and politicians, called for declaring May 15 as a day for consolidating pan-Arab ranks in the whole Arab world, where the Arab nation should revise its stand, reunite folds, and work for setting up unity, without which liberation goals can never be achieved.
The statement underlined the Arab and Islamic rights to Palestine, a right which is firm, legitimate, historical and non-negotiable. The Zionist project is an imperialist one seeking to dismember the Arab nation, the statement said.
