Iran reiterates support for Palestinians

Iranian President Muhammad Khatami has reiterated his country's support for the Palestinian people and for liberating occupied Jerusalem, adding that Israel still constitutes the biggest threat against the stability and security of the region and the Islamic world.

In a message broadcast on Iranian TV and radio on Friday on the 50th anniversary of the usurpation of Palestine, Khatami condemned the usurpation of Palestine and the establishment of the Zionist entity, stressing that the Palestinians are the "symbol of innocence."
