Cyprus denies military agreement with Israel

The embassy of Cyprus in Cairo denied in a statement yesterday of any agreement for military cooperation between Israel and Cyprus, according to which the Cyprus authorities will allow Israeli fighter jets to use Cypriot airspace.

In its statement the embassy confirmed that what the Israeli ambassador in Necosia said in this regard has nothing to do with truth. The statement said that there is no intention to sign this kind of agreement with Israel in the future.
