More progress in Saudi-Yemeni border demarcation process

Yemeni Minister of the Interior Col. Hussein Arab said the question of border demarcation between his country and Saudi Arabia has achieved big strides towards settlement.

Minister Arab expressed optimism that the demarcation process will be completed in the very near future. In statements to the Saudi daily Okaz published on Sunday, the Yemeni minister added "only a few points are still under discussion between in this respect between the two countries."

He said the two countries have sincere intentions to arrive at an ultimate solution to the border demarcation process that is satisfactory to both sides. He indicated that Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has made important steps in this regard and denied that border demarcation process is not linked to the return of the Yemeni labor force to Saudi Arabia.
