Syndic communications to declare official initiative

Egyptian union leaders started expanded talks to hold a meeting in the middle of May to declare on official initiative to stop the Islamists' monopoly on the union.

A union source told ArabicNews.com that the new initiative comes out of the desire to not allow any political movement a controlling monopoly of the unions boards of directors that excludes other from political participation.
