Shooting at Kuwaiti Ali Salem air base

The entrance of Kuwait's Ali Salem air base was fired upon by unknown attackers in a Japanese car. Kuwaiti authorities are investigating the accident.

The Ali Salem air base hosts alliance forces airplanes that arrived in Kuwait during the recent crisis between Iraq and the U.N concerning inspections for Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
