Arab effort to shed more light on Jerusalem
The permanent Arab Information Committee holds a meeting today under the head of Amin Bossiouni to discuss a plan for an Arab information initiative to confront Israeli policy aiming at the Judaization of Jerusalem.
Ambassador Mohab Mokbel, the assistant secretary-general for information affairs in the Arab League, said that the meeting comes within desire of the Arab Information Ministers Council to support Jerusalem and protect it, besides working to disclose Israeli racist practices, aiming at evacuating Jerusalem of its Arab inhabitants and changing its culture, surrounding it with borders of settlements.
Mokbel stated that Arab ambassadors, delegations from the Arab League, and Arab authors in the Arab countries and the United States will participate in the Islamic intiative, clarifying that the campaign will concentrate on the illegitimacy of the Israeli procedures in Jerusalem.
