Syria, JICA sign accord

An accord on the second phase of development of a drinking water system in Damascus was cosigned on Monday by Syria and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency in Damascus.

Syrian Minister of housing and public utilities Husam al-Safadi and the Japanese ambassador in Damascus, who signed the accord, affirmed their desire to enhance bilateral cooperation to benefit both states.
