Iraqi justice minister arrives in Damascus

Iraqi Justice Minister Shabib al-Malki arrived in Damascus today for a several-day visit to Syria.

In an arrival statement to SANA, al-Malki said he has come to Syria "to convey greetings and best wishes of the Iraqi people and leadership to the Syrian people and leadership over Syria's national stand towards the Iraqi crisis." He said he will brief Syrian officials on the latest developments following the signing of the recent accord between Iraq and the UN.
