Jordanian municipality heads cancel visit to Israel

Eight municipality heads in Jordan on Sunday canceled a visit to Kreyyat Teiffoun city in northern Israel at the invitation of the city's municipal council.

The Mayor Shameul Abu Khamash said in a statement to Israeli radio, "Regrettably that the Jordanian municipality heads were subjected to political pressures and decided to cancel this visit which has been set for several months," al-Nahar reported.
