Originally published

An official sources told ArabicNews.com that Sudanese Foreign Minister Mostafa Osman Ismail and his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf agreed during a meeting held in Doha last week on the margin of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Islamic countries to exchange visits between the two countries' officials.

The agreement aims at easing the tense conditions between the two countries. Algiers has condemned the Sudanese government for supporting armed groups that commit violent acts in Algeria, a matter denied by Sudan.

The sources stated that security officials from the two countries will exchange visits and said an Algerian security delegation will be directed to Sudan soon to search the security files and to take custody of some of the wanted Algerians who live in Sudan.

The Algerian delegate which includes the assistant of the foreign minister delivered a list of the names required for justice and evidence of the involvement of the Sudanese government in presenting support to the terrorists.

Both countries will sign the Arab agreement against terrorism and that will normalize the security co-operation. The signing will be next month.
