Overpass suggested between Gaza and West Bank

Israel said it suggested building an overpass to go over vast areas of land in order to implement the phrase in the interim agreements that guarantees a safe passage for Palestinians between the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Reliable sources in Gaza said the Palestinian government rejected that offer and another which proposed digging a tunnel across those areas. The Palestinian government, said the sources, believes Israel is looking for any means to avoid implementing the safe passage phrase, including impractical suggestions that have no chance of execution.
