Originally published

The head of the political department of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Farouk Qaddoumi, stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a foe of peace, because since he assumed power, he has used provocative steps to frustrate and encourage Palestinians to look away from peaceful options.

He also said that Israeli policy opposes peace and endangers security and stability in the region. If this policy continues as it has without any steps taken by the United States as a peace process co-sponsor, the whole region will be exposed to a great danger.

He called for enhancing Arab solidarity, using a boycott to isolate isolation on Israel politicaly and economically.

He also called for an Arab boycott against Israel, calling it necessary, especially due to the state of the peace process and the Palestinian people's circumstances.

Qaddoumi described peace negotiations as having completely deteriorated and called for an Arab summit.
