An international welcome for the new Moroccan government

Moroccan sources that participated in the assemblies of the 109th session of the Arab foreign ministers which began on Tuesday said the US administration said that the formation of the new government headed by the opposition party assured the beginning of a new page in the political life in Morocco.

The sources said the US administration sees these developments as initiatives of hope and change in the area and that the administration will closely observe the efforts to broaden participation in Moroccan political life.

The Moroccan house of representatives will hold its next session before the middle of April to discuss the political and economic program to which the government will be committed. After that, the government will prepare a budget determined by the implementation mechanisms of the program throughout the year.
