Israeli labor party member for implementation of 425

Member of the Israeli Knesset from the Israeli Labor Party Yusi Beilin has welcomed the initiative of the Israeli government to pull its troops out of south Lebanon according to UN resolution 425 .

Israeli radio said Belin criticized the Israeli government for insisting on a formal agreement with Lebanon as a precondition to withdraw from south Lebanon. He rejected the idea of gradual withdrawal, and said that the Lebanese army is able to keep security in south Lebanon.
