Former Egyptian interior minister's claim against newspaper delayed
The felonies court in Egypt decided to delay examining a case in which the editor of an Egyptian daily newspaper, Magdi Ahmed Hussein, and other five editors were accused by former Egyptian minister of interior Hassan Al-Alfi of defamation.
The case was delayed until July to give the two side a chance to reconcile.
Hussein was transported to jail to implement an imprisonment judgment of one year in another case, pressed by Alfi's two sons.
