Egypt identifies four terrorists killed in battle with police
Egyptian security bodies determined the identities of four extremists who were killed in a fight with the police in Malwai city of Almenia province.
A security source said that the four persons are Said Ahmed Abdo, Mesbah Hosni Mohammed, Omar Ahmed and Shehatah Abdel Baset and that they are leaders in the military wing of the Islamic Group, which has carried out more than 40 terrorists attacks during the last four years in which about 70 policemen and civilians were killed.
They had also participated in the attack on a church in Al-Fekria village in Abou Farkas city in March 1997 in which nine Copts were killed.
