Jordanian chief editor jailed

Jordanian security authorities on Tuesday arrested Abdul Hadi al-Majali, the editor of the satirical Jordanian weekly Abd Rabbuh. The weekly recently resumed publication following a decision by Jordan's Supreme Court of Justice to cancel the printing and publication provisional law.

Since then only two issues of the weekly have been published.
